I was sitting on the sofa this morning with Kyle and Jacob and Jacob spelled r-a-t and told us that it spelled "rat." I praised him and told him he would be spelling and reading many more words than that in no time. Kyle piped in, saying "I remember when I was in kindergarten like you, Jacob. I was trying to read the directions on the bottom of my math page and said I couldn't do it, but mom said 'Yes you can do it, keep trying.' So I did (keep trying) and I read it just like mom said I could." Jacob sat there for a second and his reply was "So, what you are telling me is you tried to read, told mom you couldn't and she FORCED you to do it anyway?"
I absolutely love his interpretation! I can always count on Jacob for a good laugh.

Leave it to kids to interpret the real meaning of things! :)
You are so mean to FORCE him to do it anyway even though he told you he couldn't, Misty!! :) LOL...
Time for some new pics, Misty!!! Now that I can't nag on Heather and Amy's talk back boxes anymore, I'm left to nag on you!!! :) Happy Thanksgiving!
